Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with doctor’s instructions and pharmacy protocols
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and organising medication orders for patients
• Provide guidance to patients regarding medication usage, storage, and potential side effects
• Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and inventory levels
• Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring safety and compliance
• Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
• Respond to patient inquiries professionally and courteously, fostering a positive customer experience

Requirements

• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is highly desirable
• Titan PMR knowledge preferable
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A recognised qualification or certification in pharmacy assistance or related field is preferred
• Commitment to patient care, confidentiality, and adherence to regulatory standards

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
