Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in accurately dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and supporting pharmacy operations. Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy protocols
• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution
• Provide clear instructions to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects
• Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
• Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with health and safety standards
• Offer compassionate patient care, answering queries and providing guidance on medication-related concerns
• Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing prescriptions

Skills

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmaceutical terminology
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to prevent errors
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
• Competence in using pharmacy software systems and record management tools
• Compassionate approach with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care

Pay: Up to £13.20 per hour
