Pharmacy Educator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Educator to develop and review high-quality academic content for D.Pharm, B.Pharm, and Pharm.D courses. The candidate will be responsible for preparing educational scripts, presentations, assessments, and digital learning materials according to the prescribed Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) curriculum.

The educator will also be responsible for reviewing every educational video after production and providing academic approval before it is published.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Develop subject-wise academic content for D.Pharm, B.Pharm, and Pharm.D courses.
2. Prepare chapter-wise and topic-wise educational content according to the prescribed PCI syllabus.
3. Create detailed lecture scripts for educational videos, including explanations, examples, and visual requirements.
4. Prepare PowerPoint presentations, study materials, lecture notes, and other digital learning resources.
5. Develop MCQs, assignments, assessments, and examination-related content.
6. Review and verify the academic accuracy of all pharmacy-related content.
7. Coordinate with the video production and graphic design teams to develop 2D and 3D animated educational videos.
8. Review every completed educational video and provide final academic approval before publication or release.
9. Identify errors in video content, terminology, explanations, or visuals and provide necessary corrections to the production team.
10. Ensure all educational content and videos meet PCI curriculum requirements and academic quality standards.
11. Simplify complex pharmacy concepts into clear and understandable explanations for students.
12. Complete assigned content development and video review tasks within the given deadlines.

Educational Qualifications

• B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or Pharm.D from a recognized institution.
• M.Pharm or Pharm.D candidates will be preferred.
• A valid Pharmacy Council registration ID is mandatory.

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in pharmacy teaching or pharmacy education is mandatory.
• Candidates must have experience teaching D.Pharm, B.Pharm, or Pharm.D subjects.
• Experience in academic content development, lecture preparation, or educational video review will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong subject knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to develop academic scripts, presentations, and assessments.
• Strong content reviewing, proofreading, and academic validation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with video editors, graphic designers, and content development teams.

Mandatory Requirements

1. Relevant experience in pharmacy education or teaching.
2. Valid Pharmacy Council registration ID.
3. Strong understanding of the D.Pharm, B.Pharm, or Pharm.D curriculum.
4. Ability to develop, review, and validate educational content.
5. Willingness to take responsibility for the academic accuracy and final approval of every educational video before release.
