About the Role
Korman Healthcare is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician to join our evening operations team.
This is an entry-level opportunity in a closed-door, long-term-care pharmacy environment. You will play an important role in making sure medications are accurately scanned, packaged, organized, and prepared for delivery to the skilled nursing, assisted living, and hospice facilities we serve.
You don't need years of pharmacy experience to succeed in this position. We are looking for someone who is reliable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in doing accurate work.
You'll receive training on our processes and systems and have the opportunity to learn how a long-term-care pharmacy operates from the inside.
Why You'll Love This Job
- Entry-level friendly – We provide training for the right person.
- No retail pharmacy environment – Work in a professional, closed-door pharmacy setting.
- Consistent 2nd-shift schedule – 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.
- Meaningful work – Your work helps ensure medications reach patients who depend on them.
- Hands-on experience – Learn pharmacy fulfillment, medication packaging, scanning, inventory, and workflow.
- Team-oriented environment – Work alongside pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and fulfillment staff.
- Opportunity to grow – Build experience in healthcare and pharmacy operations.
What You'll Do
- Scan medications and prescription orders using pharmacy technology and established procedures.
- Package medications accurately according to pharmacy and facility requirements.
- Sort and organize completed medication orders for delivery.
- Verify that medications and packages are properly labeled and prepared for the next step in the workflow.
- Assist with assembling medication packages and other pharmacy fulfillment tasks.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work area.
- Follow all pharmacy procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged packaging, or other issues to the appropriate team member.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production and delivery deadlines.
- Assist other areas of the pharmacy as needed.
- Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Perform other duties related to pharmacy fulfillment as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely handle and organize medication packages and supplies.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Pharmacy experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
Schedule & Pay
