Pharmacy Intern/Technician

Duties

• Assist in preparing and dispensing medications with precision, including IV infusions and aseptic techniques for sterile compounding
• Support medication intake processes by verifying prescriptions, ensuring accuracy, and documenting patient information thoroughly
• Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards and hospital protocols during medication administration and documentation
• Follow strict aseptic techniques during sterile compounding to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety

Skills

• Prior experience in compounding is highly desirable
• Knowledge of IV infusion procedures, aseptic techniques, and medication administration protocols
• Experience as a pharmacy technician or intern with a focus on medication safety and accuracy
