Pharmacy Lab Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Support pharmacy laboratory practical sessions and day-to-day laboratory activities.
• Prepare and arrange samples, reagents, chemicals, equipment, and laboratory materials.
• Assist faculty and students with laboratory experiments and practical demonstrations.
• Operate, maintain, and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Maintain laboratory records, inventory, stock registers, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, laboratory safety, GLP, and institutional guidelines.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and proper storage of chemicals and materials.
• Support quality control, pharmaceutical analysis, and research-related laboratory activities.
• Coordinate with faculty and laboratory staff to ensure smooth and timely conduct of practical sessions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma/Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm/B.Pharm) or relevant qualification.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy/academic laboratory is preferred.
• Good knowledge of laboratory equipment, sample preparation, and basic pharmaceutical analysis.
• Familiarity with SOPs, GLP, laboratory safety, and documentation.
• Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to support faculty and students during practical sessions.
