Pharmacy Manager/Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Pharmacy Manager/Lead in charge of our pharmacy operations and ensure the delivery of outstanding customer care. This role involves overseeing daily pharmacy activities, managing staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing expert pharmaceutical services. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Dave’s Midtown pharmacy team, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality customer service.
• Drive a collective team environment in which 2 Dave’s pharmacies are each working to grow Rx count
• Work with company leadership to maximize pharmacy profitability and reduce fees
• Oversee pharmacy operations for 2 Dave’s pharmacy locations (Midtown and Severance), including medication dispensing, inventory management, and adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards
• Provide clinical pharmacy services, including patient assessment, medication therapy management, immunizations, and pain management consultations.
• Ensure all pharmacy activities comply with state and federal pharmacy laws, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare compliance policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers as applicable.
• Maintain accurate documentation within Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and other EMR systems.
• Conduct staff training as applicable to promote continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Licensed pharmacist with current certification to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.

• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in immunizations or IV infusion are advantageous.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA and medication administration protocols.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
