Pharmacy Operations Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Pharmacy Operations Supervisor - Lead Pharmacy Technician to oversee daily pharmacy operations, manage and support employees, and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has extensive pharmacy experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to take initiative, resolve problems, and keep the team running smoothly.

This is a key leadership role for someone who can take ownership, put out fires, train employees, and implement new procedures and operational changes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily pharmacy operations and workflow.
• Supervise, support, and hold pharmacy employees accountable for their responsibilities.
• Address day-to-day issues, resolve problems efficiently, and keep operations running smoothly.
• Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of customer concerns.
• Lead employee onboarding, training, and ongoing development.
• Communicate and implement new policies, procedures, and operational changes.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Maintain a professional, organized, and productive work environment.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for staff questions and operational challenges.
• Collaborate with management to improve team performance and pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a pharmacy technician or in a pharmacy operations role.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise, and manage employees.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions.
• Comfortable enforcing policies, providing feedback, and holding employees accountable.
• Self-motivated, proactive, dependable, and able to take ownership of responsibilities.
• Pharmacy technician certification and relevant state registration, if applicable, preferred or required based on state regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
