Pharmacy Retail Manager

Mullein Pharmacy is seeking an experienced full time Pharmacy Retail Manager who is customer, team and business focused, energetic and highly motivated to lead our friendly, supportive team in one of our stores in Springfield.

The Opportunities:

Each Mullein Pharmacy offers a unique and diverse customer offer with a variety of services and a highly professional Pharmacist team. We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Retail Manager to compliment and support our various services and Pharmacist team, whilst being confident to lead a team of pharmacy assistants to achieve store sales and productivity goals.

The Retail Manager Role Responsibilities:

• Management of the pharmacy efficiently, profitably, and ethically in accordance with the pharmacy’s policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership and direction to our team.
• Work cohesively with the Pharmacists to achieve best patient / customer outcomes
• Stock monitoring and management.
• Maintain the control and application of systems to increase sales and productivity.
• Team Leadership: Roster management, team engagement and managing performance where required.
• Liaise with key stakeholders including pharmaceutical reps and the Head Office team.
• Contribute to the Mullein Group leadership team
• Actively plan and work toward achieving the store's KPI targets
• Prepare of monthly trading figures and a monthly report of pharmacy operations.
• Analyse financial reports and identify areas for cost savings or revenue growth.
• Maximise sales by ensuring that stock levels of the pharmacy are correct and that all stock is presented and well promoted.
• Monitor and manage the pharmacy’s budget, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins.

We have the flexibility to work with the successful candidate to support commencement now, later in 2026 or in January 2027!

About you:

We are looking for experienced Pharmacy Professionals in the position of Full time Pharmacy Retail Manager who will thrive in a diverse and fast-paced environment and be committed to bringing ideas to life to support our business growth. You will contribute to creating a positive, inclusive working environment and always providing an extraordinary customer experience.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Exceptional customer care and customer service skills
• Minimum 12 months+ Pharmacy Retail Management experience.
• Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy, or equivalent minimum experience
• Leadership capabilities where you are motivated and goal driven to drive your team forward.
• Proven ability to work together with Pharmacists to drive sales growth and increase foot traffic.
• Stock Management experience
• A genuine, warm and engaging personality and ability to build rapport with others
• Positive attitude and outstanding communication
• Demonstrated initiative, time-management & flexibility
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task
• Strong work ethic, with excellent attention to detail
• Some flexibility with hours and working days.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency required

In addition, we would love for you to have (although not essential):

• Dispensary inventory control and organisation

• Skills / training / experience in a variety of pharmacy service offers such as CPAP, Wholefoods, Compounding, Ear piercing

• Ability to manage rosters.
