Pharmacy Sales Assistant

Fadden’s Pharmacy, Clane are looking for an experienced OTC Sales Assistant to work alongside our experienced and established team.

No late nights, no Sundays and no bank holidays.

Candidates MUST have at least 1-2 years Community Pharmacy experience in Ireland.

The main duties of the role will include the following:

• Greeting and assisting customers with a high level of professionalism and warmth
• Handling prescriptions and OTC product queries efficiently
• Providing excellent customer advice through product knowledge
• Processing transactions using the till system
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the shop front and OTC areas
• Ordering OTC medicines and retail products as needed
• Liaising with suppliers and sales representatives for stock and promotional items

Knowledge and experience required:

• 1-2 Years of community pharmacy experience in Ireland is required.
• Up to date knowledge of OTC medicines.
• Experience of taking prescription orders from patients and knowledge of the relevant questions to ask
• Experience of ordering from pharmacy suppliers.
• Previous sales and customer service experience is essential.

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
