We are looking for a reliable, organised and hands-on team member to support our pharmacists with daily shop operations, cleanliness, shelf organisation and local customer deliveries.

This is a combined in-store support and delivery role, not a delivery-only position. Our pharmacy is still developing its delivery business, so delivery volumes are currently modest and vary from day to day. Most local deliveries are to nearby residential buildings and hotels, generally within approximately 500 metres.

Main responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team: Welcome customers, assist with non-clinical shop tasks and refer all medicine-related questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain cleanliness: Regularly clean shelves, displays, floors and other designated areas, keeping the pharmacy tidy and presentable.
• Help with shop organisation: Arrange retail displays, organise supplies and assist with permitted stock-handling and counting tasks as directed by the pharmacists.
• Complete local deliveries: Deliver sealed, pharmacist-approved orders, follow the pharmacy’s handling instructions, confirm delivery and protect customer privacy. Motorcycle deliveries will only be assigned once the required licence and approvals are verified.
• Provide general shop support: Assist with routine tasks, maintain the staff refreshment area and occasionally prepare tea or coffee.

Requirements

• Good spoken English and the ability to communicate politely with customers and colleagues.
• Reliable, punctual, attentive to detail and willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Comfortable with regular cleaning, shelf organisation, stock handling and nearby walking deliveries.
• Able to use WhatsApp and mobile maps confidently.
• A valid UAE motorcycle driving licence is a must. An own motorcycle suitable and approved for delivery work is an additional advantage.

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail shop, stockroom or similar support role is helpful. Pharmacy-related education or technician experience, including experience gained overseas, is an advantage.

Salary and incentives

A fixed monthly salary of AED 2,000, with additional delivery incentives calculated from completed deliveries and paid monthly. The incentive rate and conditions will be agreed in writing before joining.

The fixed salary does not depend on delivery volume. Additional delivery earnings will vary with the number of completed deliveries.
