About ApocusRx

ApocusRx is a growing pharmaceutical organization supporting pharmacy, laboratory, and pharmaceutical operations. We are seeking a versatile team member who is technically inclined, enjoys solving problems, and is comfortable working directly with patients and healthcare providers.

Position Summary

This is a unique hybrid position combining IT technical support and pharmacy technician responsibilities.

Approximately 15% of the position will focus on IT support across our pharmacy, laboratory, and pharmaceutical operations, including approximately 30 computers, printers, networking equipment, cameras, and other technology.

The remaining 85% will support pharmacy operations, including answering patient and provider calls, customer service, prescription-related workflow, and other pharmacy technician responsibilities under pharmacist supervision.

This is not a full-time IT position. Candidates should be comfortable working primarily within a pharmacy environment while serving as the organization's first point of contact for routine IT issues.

Pharmacy Technician Registration – Required

Because this position works directly within pharmacy operations, the employee must hold an active Texas Pharmacy Technician License. If the candidate does not currently have a pharmacy technician license, ApocusRx will assist with and pay the cost of obtaining a Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee Registration that will be valid for 2 years along with providing required trainings. Candidates who already hold an active Texas Pharmacy Technician registration are strongly preferred.
