Pharmacy Technician

Job Purpose

To support the Pharmacy team in the safe, accurate and efficient preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications while ensuring excellent service and compliance with established pharmacy procedures and standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications accurately according to prescriptions and established pharmacy procedures.
• Manage medication inventory including receiving, storage, stock replenishment, expiry monitoring and stock rotation.
• Ensure proper labelling, packaging and handling of medications while maintaining medication safety and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records, documentation and assist with billing and other pharmacy-related administrative duties.
• Work closely with Pharmacists and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure efficient pharmacy operations and quality patient care.

Job Requirement:

• Possess Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Preferably with 2 years of working experience in hospital industry.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of medication handling, storage practices and pharmacy operations.
• Detail-oriented with good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, and willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
