What they need
- Order, pack & assemble medications according to prescription / order with speed and accuracy
- Dispense medications according to operational and legal requirements
- Provide medication counselling
- Carry out dispensary and distribution processes according to standard protocol and guidelines
- Handle pharmacy phone calls to ensure that Internal or external calls are answered promptly
- Perform billing of medications to relevant payers appropriately and accurately
- Perform regular checks and maintenance of equipment used to ensure optimal function, as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in hospital pharmaceutical operations would be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
