Job Overview

In this vital role, you will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient prescriptions, and ensuring seamless pharmacy operations.

Duties

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, including counting, labeling, and packaging prescriptions accurately.
• Enter prescription data and resolve insurance rejections
• Assist customers in person and over the phone
• Manage inventory and medication ordering
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organization
• Support pharmacists with daily operations
• Comply with HIPAA and all pharmacy regulations

Requirements

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Knowledge of pharmacy workflow, insurance billing, and prescription processing
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluents in English and Spanish
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks

Pay: $17.50 - $21.50 per hour
