Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and labeling medications accurately.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software systems with precision, ensuring all patient information is accurate and confidential.
• Maintain strict adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws.
• Assist in the intake process by verifying prescriptions, processing insurance claims, and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by engaging with patients and healthcare providers professionally and compassionately.
• Managing prescription pick ups and processing payments at cash register

• Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields helpful but not necessary
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a face paced environment with others
