What you'll be doing
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will provide reliable pharmaceutical support that helps ensure patients receive the right medication safely and efficiently.

• Perform medication distribution and dispensing activities accurately and safely
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products to approved formulations
• Provide patient-focused pharmacy services across designated areas
• Ensure medication handling complies with legislation, policies and procedures
• Participate in quality assurance, performance development and student supervision

Essential Criteria

• Qualification: Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 –Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support, Pharmacy Technician Grade 2 - Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support.

Selection Criteria

1. Demonstrated good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
2. Demonstrated satisfactory pharmacy dispensing experience in Australia (or equivalent).
3. Demonstrated ability to prioritise large workload and have good time management skills.
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
5. Willing and able to perform all aspects of sterile (including cytotoxic) manufacturing.
6. Must be willing and able to work late shifts and overtime on weekends as required.
