Duties

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation.
• Manage medication inventory through precise data entry and stock management using pharmacy software systems, maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations for medication dosages, ensuring safe and effective patient dosing in accordance with medical orders.
• Support patient service activities .
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation policies, and pharmaceutical regulatory standards during daily operations.
• Document all activities thoroughly, including drug dispensing records, inventory logs, and incident reports to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Experience

• Prior pharmacy technician experience in LTC pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or community pharmacy is preferred. However, we can train if you have no experience.
• Experience with pharmacy software systems for prescription processing, data entry, and inventory management.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care, and maintaining confidentiality in sensitive environments.
