Pharmacy Technician

Join our dynamic pharmacy team as a Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting our Pharmacists and ensuring the safe, accurate dispensing of medications. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacy environment. You will collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional service, maintain regulatory compliance, and uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical practice.

We are looking to fill a FULL TIME position.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Bubble Packaging per cycle or live-order date of service
• Precisely hand-fill per dosage instructions and neatly label bubble packs and bulk items
• Process first-time fills and/or refills on pharmacy software (IPS)
• Assist with DOSIS robots
• Follow all medication storage/inventory protocols
• Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional service to clients and customers
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Assist with special projects as needed

Requirements: Please do not apply if unable to meet any of the following criteria

• Must be able to work 3 weekdays (10am-7pm, subject to change) and weekends (8:30am-5pm)
• Have a clean and active CA-license from the Board of Pharmacy
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude towards peers and customers
• Successfully complete a background check and drug test
• Stay in full compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, as well as follow all company Standard Operating Procedures
• Knowledge of basic pharmacy laws, terminology, and calculation
• Be able to successfully communicate with clients, customers, and colleagues in a professional manner
• Strong attention to detail

Prior long-term care experience or background HIGHLY PREFERRED

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
