Pharmacy Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists and making an impact in our community! Your responsibilities will include Patient care, Medication management, and all basic Pharmacy technician duties. If you are passionate about healthcare, we encourage you to apply. A strong background in community pharmacy, including compounding, is preferred, but we do have our own training program.

Duties:

• Dedicated to patients and excel in customer service

-Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications

• Provide excellent Patient care by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
• Administer medications following established protocols
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
• Utilize knowledge of Medical terminology to accurately interpret prescriptions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is a plus

• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical calculations and measurements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Prior experience in a community pharmacy setting is advantageous

• Experience with PioneerRx is a plus

Our store hours are 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm Saturday and closed on Sundays. We are also closed most holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
