Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

CrownBak Health Medical Clinic is seeking a reliable, organized, and patient-focused Pharmacy Technician to support the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of medications, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with doctors, nurses, patients, and other members of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dispensing prescribed medications accurately under appropriate supervision.
• Review prescriptions for completeness and escalate any concerns or discrepancies appropriately.
• Label and package medications correctly.
• Provide patients with basic medication instructions as directed by the prescribing doctor/pharmacist.
• Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed.
• Monitor pharmacy stock levels and identify items requiring replenishment.
• Receive, check, and properly store pharmaceutical supplies.
• Monitor medication expiry dates and ensure expired or damaged products are separated appropriately.
• Maintain proper storage conditions for medications and other pharmaceutical products.
• Assist with pharmacy inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding medication availability, deliveries, and orders where required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
• Work closely with doctors, nurses, laboratory staff, and administrative personnel to support patient care.
• Handle patient information and prescriptions confidentially.
• Support other pharmacy and clinic administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician qualification from a recognized institution.
• Relevant professional registration/licence where applicable.
• Previous experience working in a hospital, medical clinic, community pharmacy, or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of commonly prescribed medications and pharmacy procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information professionally.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Applicants who live within or close to Lekki/Ajah and surrounding areas will be strongly preferred.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
