Pharmacy Technician

We are an INDEPENDENT specialty pharmacy located in Orange, CT searching for
full-time, certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) or Licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Connecticut State Board of Pharmacy to join our pharmacy team!

Pharmacy Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Shift will be 8 hours between those hours)

Salary: Starting range would be $18 - $21 per hour based on experience and licensing with ability to receive pay increases based on performance.

Job Duties:

· Handling telephone transactions to ensure a positive customer experience

· Data entry and prescription processing

· Resolving insurance/3rd party claims and issues

· Assists with daily pharmacy maintenance to ensure the pharmacy is clean, neat, and orderly in condition and appearance.

· Such maintenance may include: stocking supplies, cleaning work stations, disposing of trash, and etc.

· Perform clerical tasks such as, handling all related sales on the cash register

· Inventory management activities such as, ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of inventory goods

· Completing any special assignments or tasks as assigned in a timely and efficient manner

Vacation: One week paid starts accruing after one year of service, 2 years will be two weeks, 3 years you will be 3 weeks max.

Applicant Requirements:

· National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred

· Actve Pharmacy Technician License with the Connecticut State Board of Pharmacy required

· High School Diploma

· Demonstrate proficiency with using Windows operating system and Microsoft Office

· Excellent communication skills

· Certified pharmacy technicians who are fluent in both English and Spanish are needed as well.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
