Duties:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medication to patients

• Prepare and package medications for distribution

• Maintain inventory and stock medications

• Enter prescription information into the computer system

• Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries

• Provide excellent customer service and patient care

• Follow all safety and quality assurance protocols

• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred

• Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy practices

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems

• PRIME RX/MICRO MERCHANT IS A MUST

Skills:

• Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care to patients

• Medical terminology: Understanding of medical terms and abbreviations used in healthcare settings

• Pharmacy technician: Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures

• Medication administration: Familiarity with different routes of medication administration (oral, topical, injectable)

• Patient service: Commitment to delivering exceptional service to patients and addressing their needs
