Concierge Rx is a closed-door pharmacy dedicated to supporting hospice patients, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, and home healthcare patients. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and organized Pharmacy Technician who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of dependable, compassionate service!

What You’ll Do

• Accurately enter prescription orders and maintain complete, up-to-date patient profiles.
• Assist pharmacists with filling, preparing, labeling, and packaging medications.
• Process medication orders, identify missing information, and bring questions or discrepancies to the pharmacist’s attention.
• Process insurance claims and help resolve billing issues.
• Coordinate refills and prescription needs with hospice nurses, healthcare providers, facility staff, patients, and caregivers.
• Assist with preparing compounded medications under pharmacist supervision and according to pharmacy procedures.
• Maintain and organize inventory, restock medications, and monitor expiration dates.
• Prepare and organize medication deliveries, coordinating with the team for timely service.
• Prioritize time-sensitive orders and communicate urgent needs promptly.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for daily operations.
• Follow pharmacy procedures, applicable regulatory requirements, and HIPAA confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Active California Pharmacy Technician registration required.
• High school diploma or GED required; national Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred.
• At least one year of pharmacy technician experience required.
• Hospice, long-term care, or closed-door pharmacy experience is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of prescription processing, medication packaging, and inventory management.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, computer systems, typing, and data entry.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with pharmacists and fellow technicians.
