Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Process retail and long-term care prescriptions
• Handle insurance billing, rejections, prior authorizations, and claim resolution.
• Prepare medication packaging and ensure accuracy
• Troubleshoot problems and find solutions with insurance companies, facilities, and healthcare providers.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists, technicians, and facility staff.
• Support daily workflow and contribute to a positive, organized team environment.
• Take ownership of tasks and help the pharmacy operate smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Strong experience with pharmacy billing and insurance problem-solving.
• Long-term care pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with medication packaging systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to providing quality work.
• Must have strong computer skills and be knowledgeable in Micromerchant software.
• Must be highly attentive to details and accurate

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
