About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, organised and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. Working closely with the pharmacist and wider dispensary team, you will support the safe and efficient operation of the dispensary while delivering excellent customer service and patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for pharmacy, strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under the pharmacist’s supervision.
• Ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and efficiently in line with pharmacy procedures.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist patients with their queries.
• Support dispensary stock management, replenishment and stock rotation.
• Process pharmacy claims and maintain accurate prescription records.
• Assist with pharmacy healthcare services and initiatives.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, including cash handling.
• Maintain effective communication and build positive relationships with patients, customers and colleagues.
• Support general pharmacy and retail duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous pharmacy, dispensary or Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, team-focused attitude and strong work ethic.
• A willingness to learn and develop pharmacy knowledge and skills.

Work Pattern

Flexibility is required across weekdays, weekends and Bank Holidays, including morning, mid and evening shifts.
