Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team for a full time position.

Must have some experience working as a pharmacy tech.

This position requires an understanding of medical terminology, aseptic technique, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Provide support in managing inventory, including restocking medications as necessary.
• Collaborate with other techs and pharmacists for optimal performance.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required, please dont apply if you do not have experience working in a pharmacy.
• Must have knowledge on how to handle phone calls (Refills, New Patient Transfers, etc)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience is a must. Certification is not required
• Experience in a retail pharmacy like CVS, RiteAid or Private.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
