Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment and proper storage procedures
• Support medication administration processes by preparing supplies and ensuring correct dosages for patients
• Provide excellent patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision
• Maintain precise documentation of prescriptions, medication records, and patient interactions
• Conduct routine quality checks to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient medication needs and support overall treatment plans

Requirements

• Proven pharmacy technician experience or relevant healthcare background
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
• Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and inventory management
• Certification as a pharmacy technician (where applicable) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
• Basic understanding of pharmacy software systems and medication terminology

Pay: From £27,420.00 per year

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• GPhC (required)
