Pharmacy Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting pharmacists in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. You will work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with Typing and billing prescriptions along with communication with patients and doctor offices.
• Collect accurate patient information.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and pharmacy regulations.
• Manage inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring availability for patient needs.
• Conduct routine checks on medication expiration to maintain proper organization and compliance with safety standards.
• Pharmacy Technician will report directly to the pharmacist on duty.
• 40 hours weekly plus Saturday once a month

Skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology related to pharmacy practices.
• Spanish speaking is required.
• advertising skills is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
• Ability to provide exceptional patient service while working under pressure.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Prime Rx experience is a MUST.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

• Pharmacy technician experience: 3 years (Preferred)
