What they need
Required: Active Nevada pharmacy technician license, high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work accurately under pharmacist supervision. Spanish speaking preferred.
Typical job responsibilities
- Entering and processing prescriptions.
- Counting, labeling, and packaging medications.
- Processing insurance claims and resolving rejections.
- Assisting with refill requests.
- Maintaining medication inventory and expiration dates.
- Ordering and receiving medications.
- Communicating with patients and prescribers.
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance and pharmacy records.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
