Pharmacy Technician

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in an independent Pharmacy. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.​

**Duties:**

• Prepare medications by counting, pouring, weighing, measuring, and mixing pharmaceuticals

• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs

• Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring proper medication management

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

**Requirements:**

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or License as Pharmacy Technician Trainee

• Proficiency in medical terminology and pharmacy calculations

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
