Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a driven, motivated, and hardworking technician who takes genuine pride in their work and wants to join our amazing dispensary team!

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2+ years of recent experience in an Irish community pharmacy setting (essential).
• Solid understanding of Irish pharmacy dispensing software and thorough working knowledge of PCRS schemes (GMS, LTI, DPS, High Tech).
• Fast and accurate dispensing capability with a strong focus on patient safety.
• Someone who takes initiative, manages stock efficiently, and keeps the dispensary running smoothly.
• Excellent communication skills, happy to build relationships with patients, and willing to jump into the front of shop to support OTC staff when needed.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare, label, and dispense prescriptions under the Pharmacist’s supervision.
• Confidantly handle monthly PCRS scheme documentation, rejections, and claims.
• Prepare patient medication packs accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain dispensary stock, manage wholesaler orders, check incoming stock
• Offer friendly, expert OTC product advice and deliver top-tier customer care.
• Assist with front-of-shop operations (till support, stock replenishment) during peak busy periods.

This job consists of 32 hours and 37 hours on alternnate weeks.

The pharmacy does not open late nights, Sundays, or Bank Holidays. Candidates are required to work alternate Saturdays only.
