Pharmacy Technician

A busy, independently owned specialty pharmacy is looking for a pharmacy technician to work in a fast paced work environment. The qualifying candidate will need to possess the following skills:

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience required
• Receiving and confirming prescription orders
• Managing Inventory and performing other organizational tasks
• Insurance verification
• High quality customer service skills- both in-person and over the phone
• Filling prescriptions
• Capable of working in a fast paced work environment
• Technologically savvy and computer literate
• Various specialized rolls- including but not limited to working with medical practices to assist with prior authorizations, and medication therapy management

Preferred Qualifications but not required:

• Bilingual - fluent in English and Spanish
• Experience with PioneerRx

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
