You'll also receive approximately three months of training to learn the company's compounding processes, procedures and quality standards. You'll be supported throughout your training so you can succeed in the role.

🧪 The Role

This is a hands-on Compounding Laboratory Technician position, where you’ll be involved in the preparation of compounded pharmaceutical products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and filling capsules and syringes
• Milling and preparing creams and ointments
• Weighing and mixing raw materials and ingredients
• Preparing pharmaceutical formulations and batches
• Following compounding procedures, formulas and quality-control processes
• Maintaining accurate documentation and records
• Inventory and stock control
• Quality-control procedures and documentation
• Managing Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Restocking raw materials and laboratory supplies
• Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and workstations
• Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic laboratory environment
• Other laboratory duties as required

👩‍🔬 About You

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Compounding Technician
• Australian pharmacy qualifications and experience
• Previous Australian compounding pharmacy experience — highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• A reliable, organised and conscientious approach
• The ability to consistently follow procedures
• The ability to work comfortably in a busy laboratory environment
• A positive attitude and genuine team focus
• A desire to develop your skills and build a long-term career

Don't have Australian compounding experience but have strong pharmacy technician experience? You will receive training in the company's specific compounding processes and procedures.

Hours :

Full-time | Monday–Friday
9:00am – 5:00pm

Start date: The employer understands that good candidates may need to give notice to their current employer and is happy to wait for the right person. An immediate start is also available.

⚠️ Important

This position is specifically for an experienced Pharmacy Technician / Compounding Technician with Australian qualifications and relevant experience.

This is not a pharmacist position and is not suitable for overseas-qualified pharmacists without pharmacy technician or pharmacy compounding experience.
