Pharmacy Technician -Data Entry

At Core LTC Pharmacy we provide pharmacy services for assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Our ideal candidate has pharmacy technician experience, is an excellent communicator, and enjoys a fast-paced work environment.

*Wage negotiable with experience. Raises are merit based with us being locally owned and not a large national pharmacy*

Pharmacy hours are as follows:

Mon-Thurs: 8am - 6:00pm / Friday: 8am - 7:00pm

Saturday: 8am - 3pm / Sunday 8am - 2pm

Shifts rotate between:

8am-4:30pm / 9am - 5:30pm / 10am - 6:30pm (Close)

With rotating weekends after the training period

Responsibilities

• Entering new medication orders and processing Refill prescriptions using our pharmacy software

• Communicating with nurses and other facility staff to discuss medication orders

• Submitting insurance claims for prescription medications

• Opening and closing procedures.

· High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

· Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

· Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
