Pharmacy Technician I - Day/Evening rotating

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.50 - $28.68 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Job Description

Position Highlights:

• Position: Pharmacy Technician I, Retail
• Location: Skokie Hospital
• Full Time: 40 Hours: 8-5:30, 9-5:30,10-6:30. Approximately 1 weekend per month Saturday 8:30-3:30. Holiday rotation.

What you will do:

• Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications
• Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses
• Maintain inventory of drug supplies

What you will need:

• **License:**Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required
• **Education:**High School Diploma or equivalent
• **Certification:**Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; must become certified by successfully passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) examination or another Board-approved pharmacy technician examination, within 2 years of initial licensure.
• Experience: Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred. Retail experience preferred for retail positions
