Pharmacy Technician (ID: 699834)

Job Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, packing and dispensing medications accurately in accordance with established procedures and standards.
• Ensure medications, dispensing consumables and patient information leaflets are adequately stocked, replenished and stored properly.
• Provide medication-related information and patient counselling under the guidance of pharmacists, and escalate potential drug interactions, discrepancies or patient complaints when necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels, check medication expiry dates and stock conditions, and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Assist with medication repackaging, quality control checks and routine maintenance of pharmacy IT, automation equipment and other devices.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and proper housekeeping of the pharmacy premises, dispensing counters and storerooms.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and provide professional, courteous service to patients and customers while adhering to established pharmacy procedures and policies.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences, completion of a recognised Pharmacy Technician course, or a foreign Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Able to work effectively in a team and demonstrate initiative in daily tasks.
• Detail-oriented, organised and committed to accuracy in medication handling and inventory management.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to established pharmacy procedures and quality standards.
