Pharmacy Technician- Part Time

Duties

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation.
• Enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software systems while maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
• Support medication inventory management, including stock replenishment and regulatory compliance checks.
• Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, clarifying medication instructions, and supporting medication administration processes.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation standards, and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance protocols.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations to verify correct dosages and measurements for prescriptions.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate understanding of medical terminology and pharmacological medical terminology.
• Experience with pharmacy software systems, data entry accuracy, and inventory management is essential.
• Strong understanding of state healthcare regulations, drug regulation laws, and pharmaceutical calculations.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
