Pharmacy Technician (PRN)

Valley Professionals Community Health Center is hiring a PRN Pharmacy Technician at our Clinton and Rockville locations. This person will travel between locations as needed.

Job duties:

Assists pharmacists with prescription processing, including data entry, labeling, filling, and packaging medications.

Addresses customer inquiries professionally and provides excellent service while referring clinical questions to the pharmacist. Operates cash register, processes payments, and maintains proper documentation.

Manages inventory by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and assisting with returns.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Active state Pharmacy Technician license or registration (as required by state law).

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.

• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.

• Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions from supervising pharmacists.
