Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist – Clinical Research

Axiom Research is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to join our clinical research team in Colton. This is an opportunity to put your patient-care and phlebotomy skills to work in clinical trials while developing experience in clinical research.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable helping patients feel welcome and at ease.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, collect urine specimens, take vital signs, and conduct EKGs.
• Prepare patient charts and assist with research visits.
• Prepare and organize laboratory kits and supplies.
• Maintain inventory and keep clinical work areas organized.
• Assist with data entry and case report forms.
• Work closely with the research team to support accurate documentation and smooth patient visits.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of relevant medical assistant or phlebotomy experience.
• Strong blood-draw skills and a professional, reassuring manner with patients.
• Good organizational skills and careful attention to documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
