• Collect blood and other specimens from patients safely and professionally.
• Properly label, handle, store, and transport collected specimens.
• Follow standard procedures for venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Maintain proper infection prevention and safety protocols.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation.
• Communicate politely with patients and provide appropriate guidance before and after sample collection.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the phlebotomy area and equipment.
• Perform other laboratory-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience: 2-5 years
• Education: diploma in medical laboratory technology
• Skills: phlebotomy, phlebotomists, laboratory skills (bloodwork, diagnostics), laboratory skills, laboratory management, laboratory procedures, laboratory safety procedures, specimen collection, laboratory techniques & procedures, laboratory safety protocols
