Phlebotomist - Full time

JOB DESCRIPTION

Any Lab Test Now of Tallahassee is currently accepting applications for a Phlebotomist. We are just opening this new store and plan to be open on Halloween. We are looking for a the right person to run this store that is reliable, and hard-working individual that has the ability to thrive under pressure and able to work well with others. The right candidate will be organized and have the skills necessary to multitask effectively and efficiently. We are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter with an outgoing personality who enjoys helping and working with the public. You must have exceptional customer service, sales, and retail experience. Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To: Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis (blood, urine, saliva samples) Provide excellent customer service with customers and able to create atmosphere of trust and confidence in order to have a great client experience Ensure proper labeling of tubes, fill out requisition forms correctly Perform data entry of customer information in an accurate and timely manner Manage emails, telephone calls and appointments Collect, package and ship lab specimens via FedEx or UPS and calling for pickups Ordering lab work on laboratories portals and calling for courier pickups Open or close the facility (depending on the hours that are set), including beginning of day or end of day administrative procedures Preparing packages to be shipped out May be asked to work on marketing projects during down times Maintain protocols and guidelines as they relate to patient privacy (HIPAA) and team member safety (OSHA) Keeping the store cleaned daily (mop, taking out trash, etc), includes cleaning the bathroom after every urine collection customer.

This position reports to the Owner/Manager of the store.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

* 2 years of recent experience drawing blood (not including time in school or clinicals). * Knowledge of common blood tests * Be able to answer phones and schedule appointments * Ability to sell our products and services to customers and businesses * Patient Focused and must be a “people person” * Computer skills- usage of MS Word, Excel, the internet and Email. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus. * Typing skills- must be able to type at least 35 wpm * Organizational skills- track inventory, keep records, order supplies * Dependable and reliable * Energetic Problem-solving

DESIRED: * Experience doing drug, alcohol, hair, & saliva screens (DOT & NON DOT) * Experience administering injections

Needs to be available for published store hours Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Occasional Saturdays may be required.
