This role involves visiting patients for sample collection while ensuring courteous and professional interaction. The ideal candidate will be adept at maintaining high standards of patient care and sample integrity while operating within a dynamic healthcare setting.
• Qualifications And Skills. DMLT, or B.Sc MLT. Strong patient interaction skills to build trust and provide comfort during the sample collection process.
• Experienced in handling blood samples with precision to prevent contamination and ensure quality.
• Familiarity with medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures to maintain a sterile environment and safeguard patient health.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling and documentation of samples and patient information.
• Effective time management to meet scheduled appointments and optimize collection routes.
• Clear communication skills for both verbal and written interactions with patients and team members.
• Roles And Responsibilities. Collect blood and other samples from patients at their home or office locations as per scheduled appointments.
• Ensure complete and accurate labeling of all collected samples to prevent mix-ups and ensure traceability.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and professionalism during all interactions to uphold the company's reputation.
• Follow protocols for the safe and sanitary transport of samples to the designated laboratory facilities.
