What they need
Rheumatology practice in Smithtown seeking an experienced Phlebotomist/ Medical Assistant for a full time position. Applicant must be able to work Monday, Tuesday and Friday 7:30-3:30 and Wednesday 7:30-7:00.
Required:
- 1 year minimum experience in Phlebotomy
- 1 year experience using EHR
Job Duties:
- Taking vitals and going over patient history and medications
- Drawing blood and preparing laboratory specimens for transport
- Preparing injections for the doctor
- Scheduling and confirming appointment
-Answering phones
-Checking in patients and collecting copays and balances
- Obtaining medical records from labs and radiologists
-All front desk responsibilities
