Phlebotomy Accounts Supervisor

Role Overview: This leadership position oversees all In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) operations across large, multi-site client groups and strategic accounts, ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, support, and direction to in-office phlebotomists, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, including CAP, CLIA, and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain effective communication and strong relationships with clients, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing data analysis and root cause analysis to enhance processes.
• Mentor and guide leadership and staff, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's degree or equivalent education and experience in healthcare or business.
• Minimum of five years' experience in laboratory or healthcare-related fields, with two years in supervision or management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality management tools like Six Sigma or Lean is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary certifications, including fingerprinting if applicable.
