Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Phlebotomy Instructor to lead and inspire students in mastering the art and science of blood collection. This role involves delivering engaging, comprehensive training through both classroom and online instruction, ensuring students acquire the skills necessary to excel in phlebotomy procedures. Duties

• Must be a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
• Develop, update, and deliver comprehensive phlebotomy curricula tailored for adult learners across various instructional formats, including classroom and remote training sessions
• Utilize educational technology tools and learning management systems to create interactive lessons that enhance student engagement and comprehension
• Conduct classroom teaching with effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive, productive learning environment
• Incorporate best practices in adult education to facilitate effective lesson planning, assessment, and feedback for students working towards certification
• Support students from diverse cultural backgrounds by adapting instructional methods to meet individual learning needs
• Ensure all training activities comply with relevant educational regulations and industry standards for phlebotomy certification
• Evaluate student progress through assessments, practical demonstrations, and continuous feedback to prepare them for real-world blood collection procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience in classroom teaching or educational instruction, preferably within healthcare or clinical training environments
• Strong knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, safety protocols, and industry regulations governing blood collection practices
• Expertise in curriculum development and instructional design tailored for adult learners
• Proficiency with educational technology platforms, online instruction tools, and computers supporting remote training environments
• Familiarity with learning technology integration to create engaging e-learning modules and virtual classrooms
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Understanding of educational compliance standards and regulatory requirements related to healthcare training programs
• Experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and working with students toward certification goals
• Prior university or higher education experience is preferred but not required
