Phlebotomy / Nurse Assistant

We are seeking a clinical assistant with blood collection skills/phlebotomy qualification for a part-time position, 3-4 days per week.

We need a nurse/phlebotomist with clinical experience and competency and accuracy in blood sample collection.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.

Exciting position in a specialist sports medicine practice, focusing on ultrasound interventional procedures using high-end ultrasound machines.

Opportunity to learn clinical skills in MSK ultrasound and assist with procedures.

• Phlebotomy and nursing
• Requires qualification in phlebotomy.
• Assisting with clinical procedures, including the preparation of injection trays and injectables.
• Ensuring a high standard of hygiene and infection control.
• Procedures and protocols related to patient care and interventional procedures.
• Use of and skills around high-end ultrasound machines.
• Training will be provided on ultrasound machine operation and procedures.
• Patient record keeping and collection of ultrasound data.
• Clinical consumable stock take and stock control.
• Aspects of patient and referrer relations, including patient care and education.
