Hybrid Program

• Online Coursework
• 12 Weeks Standard Pacing
• Hands-On, In-Person Labs (Tuesday Evenings from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Beginning Week 5)
• Certification Test Prep

• 1:1 Mentoring

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in structured training sessions covering laboratory procedures, techniques, and safety protocols
• Learn and demonstrate proper specimen collection methods including venipuncture and capillary puncture
• Practice maintaining aseptic technique to prevent contamination during blood sampling and specimen processing
• Assist with patient service activities such as explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort
• Develop understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and the clinical laboratory environment
• Support laboratory staff with specimen labeling, processing, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Observe and adhere to policies related to patient care, infection control, and safety standards

• 18 years of age

• Access to Internet and Digital Device
• No Criminal Background History
