Phone Operator and scheduler

Duties

• Manage multi-line phone systems to handle high call volumes with speed and accuracy
• Answer incoming calls promptly, courteously, and professionally, directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel
• Assist visitors at the front desk by providing information and guiding them through check-in procedures
• Support dispatching activities by relaying messages and coordinating appointments or deliveries
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette, demonstrating active listening and effective communication skills in all interactions

Requirements

• Proven clerical experience with a focus on front desk or receptionist duties
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse callers effectively
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus for healthcare-related environments
• Excellent communication skills with a professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation
• Ability to type quickly and accurately for efficient data entry and record keeping
• Technical proficiency with multi-line phone systems

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
