We are a busy Camera and Print Store located in The Hub Hornby Shopping Centre, Christchurch. We specialise in cameras and photography accessories, custom photo printing, canvas printing, passport and visa photos, graphic design services, photo restoration, film processing, framing, video tape conversions, and a range of personalised photo products. We are passionate about helping customers preserve and enhance their memories through high-quality photographic and printing services.

The Role:

We are looking for a Photo Lab Assistant to help us with Film Development, Graphic Designing, Photo Restoration, Photo Enlargements, Canvas Printing, Passport Photos, Video Tape Conversions etc. The candidate will also need to help the front staff with customer service when required.

Key responsibilites:

• Edit, enhance, and adjust digital images using Adobe Photoshop and other graphic design software.
• Produce photo enlargements, canvas prints, posters, photobooks, and other personalised photo products.
• Perform photo restoration and retouching services.
• Process passport and visa photos according to required specifications.
• Complete video tape and media conversion projects.
• Operate digital photo printing equipment, scanners, and finishing machinery.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed turnaround times.
• Deliver a positive customer experience at all times
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Support the overall operation of the store and contribute to team success.

• Hands on Experience with Photoshop and other designing tools

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
